Dr. Battaglia treats a wide variety of sports medicine and general orthopaedic injuries, with a primary focus on arthroscopy and reconstruction of the knee and shoulder. This includes rotator cuff, biceps and instability issues of the shoulder, and ACL, PCL, mensicus, articular cartilage, and tendon injuries of the knee. He has a particular interest in cartilage regeneration and  cartilage transplantation of the knee. Dr. Battaglia also frequently treats athletic injuries of the elbow, foot, and ankle, including ulnar collateral ligament (Tommy John) injuries and Achilles tendon ruptures.
